1. Data controller
Your personal data is processed by Denk Gümrük Müşavirliği ve Lojistik Hizmetleri Tic. Ltd. Şti. (Talatpaşa Bulvarı No:63, Floor 2, Unit 4, Alsancak, Konak, İzmir, Türkiye · Kordon Tax Office 292 021 2762 · KEP: [email protected] · [email protected]) as data controller under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), as described below.
2. Data we process
- Identity and contact: full name, email address, phone number.
- Customer transaction details: company name, job title, website, trade status and volume, products and HS codes, customs offices you use, the content of your message (quote and contact forms).
- Transaction security: IP address and time of form submission.
- Usage data (only if you allow cookies): pages visited, visit duration, device and browser details, approximate location (Google Analytics).
Our forms do not ask for special categories of personal data such as national ID numbers or health information; please do not include such information in your messages.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- Assessing quote requests and preparing a tailored quote: directly related to entering into a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
- Responding to your enquiries: the legitimate interest of the data controller (Art. 5/2-f).
- Measuring and improving how the site is used (Google Analytics), if you allow cookies: your explicit consent (Art. 5/1).
- Information security and preventing misuse (spam, etc.): legal obligation and legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-ç, f).
Processing based on explicit consent is optional; not giving consent does not affect how your quote or enquiry is handled. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. How we collect data
Your personal data is collected electronically and partly by automated means, through the forms on our website and, if you allow them, Google Analytics cookies.
5. Transfers of personal data
Your personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. It may be transferred only as follows, and only as far as necessary:
- To competent public authorities under our legal obligations (KVKK Art. 8).
- To the providers of our website hosting and email infrastructure (Hostinger International Ltd.). Where their servers are located abroad, the transfer takes place under KVKK Art. 9.
- If you allow cookies, usage data to Google LLC as part of the Google Analytics service, including its servers abroad such as in the United States (KVKK Art. 9). Without your permission, no such transfer takes place.
The map on the Contact page loads from OpenStreetMap's servers, which receive your IP address in the process.
6. Retention
Quote requests and enquiries are kept for up to 2 years after the matter is closed. Google Analytics data is kept by Google for up to 14 months. After that, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad it is transferred to; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and, under the conditions of Article 7, its deletion or destruction; to request that these actions be notified to recipients; to object to an outcome against you arising solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can send your request in writing to the address above, by registered electronic mail (KEP: [email protected]), with a secure electronic or mobile signature, or from an email address you have previously given us and which is registered in our systems, to [email protected]. We will respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
8. Cookies
