1. Data controller
Your personal data is processed by Denk Gümrük Müşavirliği ve Lojistik Hizmetleri Tic. Ltd. Şti. (Talatpaşa Bulvarı No:63, Floor 2, Unit 4, Alsancak, Konak, İzmir, Türkiye · [email protected]) as data controller under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), as described below.
2. Data we process
- Identity and contact: full name, email address, phone number, city.
- Experience and education: position applied for, preferred office, education, total experience, assistant customs broker licence or trainee status.
- CV and cover note: the information in the CV you upload and in your cover note.
- Transaction security: IP address and time of form submission.
At the application stage we do not ask for special categories of personal data such as national ID number, health information, blood group, religion or association membership. Please leave such information and your photo out of your CV; if included, it is not used in the assessment.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- Assessing your application, contacting you and running interviews: directly related to entering into a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
- Keeping your application for 1 year so it can be considered for other suitable positions in the future: only if you tick the separate box on the form, on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 5/1).
- Information security and preventing misuse: legal obligation and legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-ç, f).
Giving explicit consent is optional; not giving it does not affect the assessment of your current application. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. How we collect data
Your personal data is collected electronically through the job application form on our website. Your application and CV are sent by email to the staff running the recruitment process.
5. Transfers of personal data
Your personal data is not shared with third parties. It may be transferred only to competent public authorities under our legal obligations (KVKK Art. 8) and, as far as necessary, to the providers of our website hosting and email infrastructure (Hostinger International Ltd.). Where their servers are located abroad, the transfer takes place under KVKK Art. 9.
6. Retention
- Without explicit consent: your application is considered only for the position concerned and deleted within 6 months after the recruitment process ends.
- With explicit consent: your application is kept for 1 year from the application date and then deleted.
- If you are hired, your details are kept for the periods required by law for personnel records.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad it is transferred to; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and, under the conditions of Article 7, its deletion or destruction; to request that these actions be notified to recipients; to object to an outcome against you arising solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can send your request in writing to the address above, by registered electronic mail (KEP: [email protected]), with a secure electronic or mobile signature, or from an email address you have previously given us and which is registered in our systems, to [email protected]. We will respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
